Love bears all things
and will never come to an end.
Love is patient and kind,*
love is not jealous or boastful, it is not arrogant or rude.
Love does not insist on its own way,*
it is not angry or resentful.
It does not rejoice in wrongdoing,*
but rejoices in the truth.
Love bears all things and believes all things,*
love hopes all things and endures all things.
Love bears all things
and will never come to an end. [I Corinthians 13.4-7]
Your friends are there now.
Maybe -
they think it’s too late,
but they are there,
receiving the precious Corpus Christi.
I am never there for your Lord, when I do not stop to share your love, with those who mourn the loss of someone, or something, dear and precious to them.
In this thirteenth station,
beloved John, mother Mary,
stricken in grief, tenderly hold you.
In this image of you three,
love bears all things and will never come to an end.
Through their loving example,
may they draw me ever closer,
into that more blessed Three.
Amen! - to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
